I'm a Clinical Research Coordinator for a pharmaceutical company.
In five years, I see myself sipping on agua de coco on the beach of Ipanema after a night of partying in Rio de Janeiro with my future partner and close friends in celebration of me getting my master's degree!
Two of my top New Year's resolutions for 2012 are to travel more outside the country like to Africa, Greece, or China and learn to keep my opinions to myself (yeah right!).
For fun, I love to tear up the dance floor to some good drum beats, traveling and anything that has to do with outdoors: like rollerblading down Ocean Drive, sunbathing on SoBe, kayaking around Star Island and biking at Key Biscayne.
I'm currently attending school and working on my master's degree in health science.
If I had the power to bring about change in 2012, I would want to protect one group of people of whose human rights are still denied in too many parts of the world today. I'm talking about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. While some have suggested that gay rights and human rights are separate and distinct, they are one and the same. Being LGBT does not make you less human.
