Adora: Teddy, can we go back to the Museum Of Contemporary Art this weekend to see the rest of the videos by Ryan Trecartin? We only saw 3 last time and they're so awesome. I want to see all of them; especially 'The Re' Search' and 'Roamie View History Enhancement,' the one with female shop assistants in corporate and shopping settings roaming backwards through time. Don't you love the sound of that?
Teddy: They are the coolest videos I've ever seen. They remind me of MTV, Jersey Shore and all those Real Housewives rolled into one – only ten times better. And all the characters are like in between boy and girl and it makes total sense. I like that.

Ever since she was a little girl, Dulce María has been singing and acting. It was during her time on Rebelde, however, that people really took notice of the Mexico City native. The telenovela spawned the group RBD, which to date has made 9 studio albums, including albums in Spanish, Portuguese and English. The group has sold over 20 million albums worldwide, and toured across Mexico, South America, Serbia, Romania, the United States, and Spain. Sadly, the group parted ways in 2008 and since then, Dulce María has been focused on launching her solo career. Here is what the 25 year old had to share.

Living in Florida definitely has its advantages. One of them is the gorgeous tropical weather we experience year round. Of course there are also some disadvantages, like the sweltering heat that comes with the tropical weather in the summer. For some of us, beating the heat is something we relish while others revel in it. So, if you're like me and you like to stay cool, check out some of the indoor events below that are just as hot as the outdoors, minus the temperature and sticky clothes. However, if you like the heat, strip down to something comfortable, wear your sun-block and check out the outdoor events.

wage-theft-0

Gay Latinos often approach me with complaints about having not been paid everything they are owed by their employer.  Sometimes, the employer has failed to pay them the minimum wage, or for overtime.  Other times, the employer has not paid them for all the hours worked during a normal week. For Latinos and immigrants without legal status, this is particularly worrisome, because in addition to the money that is lost, there is a fear that, if the employee complains, the employer might retaliate by reporting the worker to immigration enforcement.

Adora: Don’t forget we’re going to the movies tonight, Teddy!
Teddy: The movies?! Oh, you mean the Miami Beach Cinematheque.
Adora: Of course.

asuntos-legales-florida-arizona-0People often ask me if it's possible to immigrate if you have HIV. Immigration law is extremely complex and changes often, including in matters related to immigrant health. But for once, good news: there is no longer an HIV ban for travel or immigrating to the United States!
