Teddy Behr: Oh, me encanta. Las pinturas tiene colores bastante fuertes, parecen un tapete. Al verlas, sentí como que me perdí en una selva hasta que encuentras a un joven que parece vivir en la riqueza profunda de tanto color.

Power in Numbers

Growing up, I was taught to always give credit where credit was due. Today, I make as much of a conscious effort to find the 'good' in things as I do in drawing attention to the "bad", since as humans we seem to have an almost computer-like accuracy for detecting and accentuating the negatives as we go through the day. I write this as an introduction to what can only be categorized as great news for the Latino gay community.

Heber Siqueiros, who's been planning events for over a decade, is from Spain but he considers Miami his hometown. From being the mastermind behind fabulous cultural events to musical and dance concerts, it's safe to say that he's planned it all. With his impressive resume in tow, last year he and business partner Steve Sheldon launched a highly anticipated summer pool party series.

Adora: So Teddy, what was your favorite show on our last trip to New York? Mine was show about the Steins at the Met, specifically, Gertrude Stein and Alice Toklas, the "out" lesbians that collected art in Paris in the 1920's when Impressionism, Cubism, Expressionism and Surrealism were new and surprising everyone.
