It's time for a Ball!
The Leaders, Legends & Lovelies ball is here! The ball is brought to you by the Unity coalition and will take place April 12th on 1101 Ocean Drive. It will be a lavish event full of fashion, food and fierceness! You can expect a fashion show, open bar, hors d 'oeuvres, music and international recording artists Julien Rego, Daisy D., DJ Troy Landon and shameless burlesque. The ball is set to be a two day event. The second day, April 15th, will consist of free exhibits and lectures and feature fashion designs by Renato Armillo, La Epoca, design students and many more surprises! Show your support and join the Miami AIDS Walk
The 24th Annual AIDS Walk Miami, a walkathon fundraiser benefiting Care Resource, is a 5k (3.1 mile) walk that helps raise funds for a worthy cause. Care Resource is one of South Florida's oldest HIV/AIDS community organization as well as one of the oldest with primary medical care, dental, psychosocial, case management, outreach and prevention programs; it even operates as a food bank in the community. They help over 15,000 residents in MiamiDade and Broward counties who are affected by or infected with HIV/AIDS.
